Miniworkshop on MC for e+e- colliders

(CFHEP CAS, Oct. 19, 2015)

We are planning to have a one-day miniworkshop on MC for e+e- colliders on 19/OCT/2015 at CFHEP, CAS. Juergen Reuter, one of the core developers of Monte Carlo simulation tool "Whizard" from DESY, will visit CFHEP from 13/October to 20/October and will join us. Whizard is a dedicated Monte Carlo simulation package for e+e- colliders.

The workshop is supposed to provide an interface for the communication between experimentalists and theorists, and to offer young physicists an opportunity to communicate with whizard expert as well. Young local physicists who are interested in detector design and physics analysis, collider physics, Monte Carlo tool usage and development, and the DESY-CHINA exchange project as well are encouraged to join us. More details on the DESY-CHINA exchange program can be found via the weblink: http://res.chinapostdoctor.org.cn/BshWeb/info.shtml?id=1db9f068-8a23-4cc2-80ab-3a470a7853bc
